I will be speaking Sunday June 10th on the Ten Lost Tribes and where they went throughout history and where they are today. You’re in for a surprise. Then on June 24th (Sunday) I will return and this time I will be speaking on Daniel 9:24-27 with an emphasis on the Covenant that Satan has made; what it is; and just how far reaching it is and how it ties right in with the Shabua or Sabbatical cycles that we teach about. Again be ready to be shocked.

The Meetings go from 10AM-5PM. The one about the Ten Lost tribes would be excellent to bring the new people out to, as they will learn a great deal about Heraldry, maybe even their own family crest.

We had a great meeting on both days for Shabbat and Shavuot. I surely do love meeting with the brethren up here in Hanover whenever I can get there. They are new and so zealous and this zeal is attracting others to come and be with them. They invite Christians to come all the time and then get worried if I am going to scare them to death with the things I teach.

When I first met this group before last Sukkot in 2011 they were about 20 souls. At Passover and again at Shavuot there were about 30 and many of them were there for the first time. If everyone were to show up at the same time I would guess they might be about 60 souls now from all over southern Ontario.

After many had left I gave this midrash and I would like to share this with you now.

The first place Shavuot is mentioned is in Genesis 8:14-20 and 9:1-17

Gen 8:14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry. 15 And Elohim spoke to Noaḥ, saying, 16 “Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. 17 “Bring out with you every living creature of all flesh that is with you: of birds, of cattle and all creeping creatures that creep on the earth. And let them teem on the earth, and bear and increase on the earth.” 18 So Noaḥ went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him, 19 every beast, every creeping creature, and every bird, whatever creeps on the earth, according to their kinds, went out of the ark. 20 And Noaḥ built an altar to יהוה, and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

It is then feasible as we normally keep the Feast of Shavuot in the first days of the third month to understand that by the time Noah got off the ark and built pens and the altar that it would now be the Feast of Shavuot. And by the way I have seen this altar that Noah built. It is about 8 feet cubed of mixed stone and cement which is called in the old Akkadian language Kaphar. This is where we get the word Cover today which ties in with Atonement.

We then read how Yehovah met with Noah and made the following covenant on Shavuot with Noah and Mankind and all the Animals too.

Gen 9:1 And Elohim blessed Noaḥ and his sons, and said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth. 2 “And the fear of you and the dread of you is on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the heavens, on all that creeps on the ground, and on all the fish of the sea – into your hand they have been given. 3 “Every moving creature that lives is food for you. I have given you all, as I gave the green plants. 4 “But do not eat flesh with its life, its blood. 5 “But only your blood for your lives I require, from the hand of every beast I require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I require the life of man. 6 “Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood is shed, for in the image of Elohim has He made man. 7 “As for you, bear fruit and increase, bring forth teemingly in the earth and increase in it.” 8 And Elohim spoke to Noaḥ and to his sons with him, saying, 9 “And I, see, I establish My covenant with you and with your seed after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you: of the birds, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth. 11 “And I shall establish My covenant with you, and never again is all flesh cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again is there a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 And Elohim said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for all generations to come: 13 “I shall set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14 “And it shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud, 15 and I shall remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh, and never again let the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 “And the rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I shall see it, to remember the everlasting covenant between Elohim and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” 17 And Elohim said to Noaḥ, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

And at Shavuot Yehovah made the rainbow as the sign of His covenant with man.

It was extremely interesting how during the Holy Day torah portion this weekend during Shavuot, that the reading covered the Cherubim of Ezekiel 1. You can read the whole chapter yourself but I will get to the section I am emphasising.

Eze 1:26 And above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man high above it.
Eze 1:27 And from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw what looked like glowing metal with the appearance of fire all around within it. And from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw what looked like fire, and brightness all around. 28 As the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the esteem of יהוה. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

This same rainbow that was part of the covenant with Noah is described by Ezekiel as what the radiance of the throne of Yehovah looked like. How spectacular and how interesting that the sign of the covenant that I was taking about for Shavuot was also the Torah portion that day.

And as a side note, the day before the torah portion they read was Numbers 1 and 2 and it too got me excited as this was describing the Tribes of Israel which is also has a huge significance with the description of the Cherubim.

I was wondering why we would read Ezekiel 1 on the day of Shavuot, I now think I have my answer. It is the Rainbow over the throne of Heaven that ties into the covenant made on Shavuot with Noah.

We next read about Shavuot in Exodus 19:1 all the way up 24:18.

This is Yehovah Himself speaking to the Israelites and the rest of those who came out of Egypt. The mountain was on fire and a cloud rose up to the heavens and the earth and the mountain shock and there were trumpets blasting louder and louder and louder. It must have been terrifyingly exciting to have been there. How awesome. How unbelievably awesome that would have been. And yet even after seeing this with their own eyes they would doubt if Yehovah was real and would go back to the sinning ways they had been a apart of before.

We next read about Shavuot in the book of Ruth. And I find it amazing as I read many other teachers how most of them do not connect this story of Ruth with Shavuot. It is on Shavuot that we, those who are keeping all the commandments will be redeemed by our Kinsman Redeemer, Yehshua. This is a huge understanding for you to grasp. As I have urged you all to go and read Pentecost Hidden Meaning which explains how the first wave offering took place and the moment Yehshua died the grave were marked and opened. And then when He rises from the grave these marked graves, those in them rise also back to live and walk into Jerusalem where everyone see them. You can read this in Mathew 27.
Mat 27:50 And יהושע cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.
Mat 27:51 And see, the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,
Mat 27:52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the set-apart ones who had fallen asleep were raised, 53 and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the set-apart city and appeared to many.

Paul explains how Yehshua was the first of the first Fruits and how he led captives with Him when he went to the throne on that Sunday morning as the wave offering. This is the Barley wave offering that is performed at this time and it begins the counting of the Omer.

Pentecost is the end of the counting of the Omer and it is on this day that another wave offering is to be made only this one is from new Wheat and it also has leaven in it. This represents all the saints since Yehshua rose from the dead that have died since then up until He comes this second time near the end of the Tribulation when the 144,000 are raised up.

Those who are dead rise up first and those who are alive come next in the twinkling of an eye. This is at the end of the Tribulation and on Shavuot in the final year. Those 144,000 will be with Yehshua always everywhere He goes.

This is what you and I and all of us strive for; To be amongst those 144,000 and to be in this first resurrection.

The next time we read about Shavuot is in the book of Acts 1 and 2 when the Holy Spirit was given to mankind. To those who are keeping the commandments. Make special note of this fact. The Holy Spirit is given to those who keep the Commandments. And only to those who do so. It is not given to those who do not keep the commandments. Like throwing your pearls at pigs. Read the following carefully.

Joh 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he shall do also. And greater works than these he shall do, because I go to My Father. 13 “And whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son. 14 “If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it.
Joh 14:15 “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.1 Footnote: 1See Ex. 20:6, vv. 21&23, 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John v. 6.
Joh 14:16 “And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever – 17 the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. 18 “I shall not leave you orphans – I am coming to you. 19 “Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees Me, but you shall see Me, because I live, and you shall live. 20 “In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 “He who possesses My commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him.” 22 Yehuḏah – not the one from Qerioth – said to Him, “Master, what has come about that You are about to manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. 24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.

Did you see it? Do you get it?

If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. This means as we all know that if you love me keep the commandments. We are told over and over to guard the commandments. But notice what He says next.

And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him

Yehshua is the word and the word became flesh. Yehovah is the word. Yehovah and Yehshua are the one and the same. And it is they who are going to come and dwell with us. They are the Holy Spirit. It is their character.

You must be keeping the Commandments in order for the Holy Spirit to come. Period.

Then all of those in the Pentecostal movement who do not keep the Sabbath nor the Holy Days nor the Sabbatical years, do they have the Holy Spirit that comes from Yehovah, or do they possess another spirit. One that is a deceiving spirit?

Then if these people do not keep the Commandments and they possess a false spirit, why do so many try to bring that false spiritual teaching to the this walk in the Torah. It is the mixing of seeds. It is the mixing of the false teachings from the tree of good and evil, which has some good in there, and trying to fit it or justify those who want to keep on doing the wrong stuff with the tree of Truth, the Tree of life.

Joh 7:37 And on the last day, the great day of the festival, יהושע stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, and let him who believes in Me drink. 38 “As the Scripture said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 44:3, Jer. 2:13, Jer. 17:13, Zech. 14:8, Ps. 36:8,9, Prov.14:27, John 4:10, John 6:63, 1 Cor. 10:4, Rev. 7:17, Rev. 21:6, Rev. 22:1 & 17. 39 And this He said concerning the Spirit, which those believing in Him were about to receive, for the Set-apart Spirit was not yet given,1 because יהושע was not yet esteemed. Footnote: 1Ezek. 36:26-27, Joel 2:28-32, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:4 & 33, Acts 10:44-47, Acts 11:15-16, Eph. 5:18.

The Holy Spirit leads us to all truth (Jn. 14:17; 16:13; 1Jn. 4:6; 5:6)

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no Torah.

But the real meaning of Shavuot is to be found by understanding the meaning of the Wave Offering during the days of Unleavened Bread. When Yehshua rose from the grave that Saturday afternoon those saints who had lived up until that time and had already died or were asleep rose from the grave and went into Jerusalem and were seen by many people.

Mat 27:51 And see, the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,
Mat 27:52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the set-apart ones who had fallen asleep were raised,
Mat 27:53 and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the set-apart city and appeared to many.

This is the first wave offering that took place on that Sunday Morning. These Saints were the Barley and as Paul said they were part of the first fruits offering.

1Co 15:19 If in this life only we have expectation in Messiah, we are of all men the most wretched.
1Co 15:20 But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, and has become the first-fruit of those having fallen asleep.
1Co 15:21 For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a Man.
1Co 15:22 For as all die in Aḏam, so also all shall be made alive in Messiah .
1Co 15:23 And each in his own order: Messiah the first-fruits, then those who are of Messiah at His coming,
1Co 15:24 then the end, when He delivers up the reign to Elohim the Father, when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For He has to reign until He has put all enemies under His feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy to be brought to naught is death.

Notice the order of those who are raised up.

Messiah first. Then the First Fruits and then those who are alive at His coming which is yet future.

The second wave offering is done at Shavuot and it is the one with the Wheat and we are to be that wheat used in the two loaves with Leaven in them.

This is the wave offering that represent those of you who are going to be keeping the commandments when He comes. And Paul says

1Co 15:51 See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This is when our Kinsman redeemer comes to rescue us from this world and this life. This is the greatest love story ever told and all love stories are based on this one.

Yehshua our redeemer, our Yah Shall Save, comes for us on Shavuot. Make yourself ready by keeping the commandments and working with the fruits of the spirit.

There is no salvation, no eternal life, and no one to be resurrected to eternal life without having received the gift of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit. In Rom 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His.

Verse 11 also says, Rom 8:11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised יהושע from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Messiah from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you.

Paul continues in Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.

The Scripture is very clear about receiving the Holy Spirit of Yehovah and being led by Yehovah’s Spirit as being all essential for receiving salvation, and growing in Yehovah’s Love, and that no one can inherit or be resurrected to eternal life without it.

The question then is, how does one receive the gift of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit — the Spirit of life with power that can influence and enable one to produce the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control, Gal. 5:22, in their life to the point of being born of Yehovah now, (I John 4:7), and be called the son of Yehovah now, Rom. 8:14? If Yehovah’s Spirit can dwell in a person that Yehshua says must dwell in him in order for that person to bear the fruit of His Spirit, then that person should want to know how he can receive Yehovah’s Holy Spirit to be assured of eternal life in Yehovah’s Kingdom, and to know without any question that he will be in that first resurrection. This first resurrection began at the wave offering when Yehshua was raised from the dead and ascended to heaven and concludes at His return on Shavuot during the tribulation.

In today’s professed Christian world there are millions of confessed Christians who believe they have received the Holy Spirit of Yehovah, but who have instead received an unholy spirit through the worship of a false christ that has been raised up in their church. This is true because today’s Christians have never done what they need to do to receive the Holy Spirit of Yehovah through the teachings of the real and true Messiah. Pentecostalism is the same thing. They too operate under a false spirit.

Yehshua was “SENT TO BLESS PEOPLE IN TURNING EVERYONE FROM HIS SINS,” Acts 3:26.
Act 3:26 “To you first, Elohim, having raised up His Servant יהושע, sent Him to bless you, in turning away each one of you from your wicked ways.”1 Footnote: 1See 2:38. This is not turning everyone to a way to continue in their sins as is widely taught through the false spirits of today’s worshipped false christs, but turning the heart of a sinner from sin, to a heart that desires to obey Yehovah’s commandments, which is the fruit of true repentance. This repentance of one’s sins must take place in order for Yehshua to accept a person for His Grace, which is Yehovah’s favor granted to receive His forgiveness of a person’s sins, and to be granted the gift of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit, and the gift of salvation. People desirous of eternal life are commanded to repent, which is the changing of the heart from sin, I John 3:4, to obedience to Yehovah’s law to be converted in their mind and heart.

Everyone must leave the church teachings that have corrupted them and walk in the newness of Torah and it alone.

Conversion changes the heart and mind from fleshly mindedness to spiritual mindedness, which can only be done through the help of Yehovah’s Spirit working in a heart that greatly desires to be obedient to Yehovah’s spiritual law of love, which are His 10 commandments. This repentance and becoming converted, all must be carried out that your sins may be blotted out, Acts 3:19. It is all Ten Commandments and not just the ones you think or like. All 10.

Act 3:19 “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master,

Any sinner that repents of his sins (breaking Yehovah’s law), must change his sinful behavior to be accepted by Yehshua. The sinner then is commanded to be baptized in the Name of Yehshua, and must in FAITH believe and accept Messiah’s sacrifice to justify his sins. Upon these actions and works he can be assured by Yehovah’s promise that he will be forgiven of his sins, and will by Yehovah’s promise receive the gift of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit, through the laying on of hands, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:17, 19:6.

So many think they do not have to be baptized and that the baptism of their former false church is good enough. Not so. You do need to be re-baptised and then have someone lay hands on you and ask the Father for the Holy Spirit to come into your life and help you to grow.

Repentance of breaking Yehovah’s law and the keeping of Yehovah’s commandments does not forgive sins, nor does it grant justification, Rom. 3:20, 28. Only the faith and acceptance of Messiah and His Sacrifice will forgive sins, and grant justification, but Yehshua does command a sinner’s repentance and obedience to Yehovah’s law, to be doers of His 10 commandments as requirements of His Gospel in order to be accepted for His forgiveness and to be justified by Him, Rom. 2:13.

Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the law1 shall be declared right. Footnote: 1Mt. 7:21-27, James 2:14-24.

There must be a repentance of breaking Yehovah’s 10 commandments and obedience to the keeping of Yehovah’s commandments in order for Yehshua to accept you for His forgiveness, His justification of your sins and giving you the gifts of His Holy Spirit and salvation. This verse 13 in Rom. 2 is never quoted by all the false teachers in their teaching of error about Yehovah’s Grace. They teach contrary to Yehovah’s Word, that the doing of the law is not required to be accepted by Yehshua. Paul clearly says in verse 13, ” For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the law1 shall be declared right. ” Paul here makes it emphatically clear it is the doers of the law, meaning the keepers of Yehovah’s 10 commandments, who Yehshua will accept for His Grace, forgiveness and justification of one’s sins.

The gift of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit is given as a token of the power and influence from Yehovah to a repentant person, that will enable that person to become totally converted so he can worship Yehovah in spirit and truth, John 4:24. This enabling power will help one to obey His law in its true spiritual intent, and will instruct that person to see the need to live and be led daily by the power of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit.

To worship Yehovah in spirit and truth is to obey all ten, (not just nine) of His commandments. This is exercising our love to Yehovah with all one’s heart, and is exercising one’s love to one’s neighbor and loving them as we should love ourselves, Mat. 22:37-40. This is also exercising one’s faith to believe that Yehovah knows what is all important in one’s life, and a person will trust Him in all of His promises, and in all He commands, Gal. 5:14-21-25, II Pet. 1:1-4, Heb. 11:13, John 15:10. This can only be accomplished through the power of Yehovah’s indwelling, authentic, Holy Spirit working in true believers which all of today’s professing Christianity denies and rejects because of their having accepting one of or many of the false spirits in today’s accepted false Christianity.

Today’s false Christianity in reality denies having receiving Yehovah’s Spirit and power by teaching and admitting that they, as professed Christians, cannot keep Yehovah’s commandments and that no one can receive enough power through the gift of Yehovah’s Spirit to obey the Ten Commandments. They say and teach this in order to justify their sins of disobedience and their denying and lacking Yehovah’s Spirit of power to do so, so they go about teaching that Christians are not required to obey Yehovah’s commandments, to be accepted by Messiah.

This is not only a total rejection of Yehshua as one’s Savior, it is an out and out, clear denial of the power, influence, and possession of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit dwelling in their life, II Tim. 3:5. They know that the false spirit that they have received from Satan cannot help them keep Yehovah’s commandments, because it has come from Satan, so they will put down anyone that is righteous, who keeps and teaches the keeping of Yehovah’s commandments and call them a legalist and a Pharisee. They know neither the meaning of legalist nor the works of a Pharisee. Yehovah through Timothy has foretold that this would be the way it would be, that today’s professed Christians “would have a form of Christianity, but deny the power thereof: from such turn away.” But today’s confessing Christians and their false ministers are content in their warm cocoon of a church fellowship of sin and don’t want to be disturbed!

This false, lying teaching of today’s Christian preachers that no commandment keeping is necessary to be accepted for Yehovah’s grace is from Satan, himself, John 8:43-47, and is an affront and hatred against Yehshua, His message, His death and His shed blood, and the purpose of Him giving Yehovah’s Holy Spirit. This also is making manifest who are the seed of Satan, the devil and who are truly of Yehshua, I John 3:8-10. This heresy and false, lying teaching is an open acknowledgment and confession that they, “today’s Christians,” do not have Yehovah’s Holy Spirit dwelling in them, and cannot know and even recognize its power and fruit in others, nor do they know how one receives Yehovah’s Spirit.

These false Christians are not converted to true Christianity and are not living by Yehovah’s law of love, and instead are living by the flesh and a false love created in their churches. Neither one of these, a spirit of following the flesh, nor the spirit of their false love is the fruit and manifestation of the true Spirit of Yehovah. These are some of the false spirits manifested and working in the churches of today’s Christianity, that produces rebellion against Yehovah, against Yehovah’s law, and is a sure sign and proof one has not received the true Holy Spirit of Yehovah, Rom. 8:7.

Anyone living by the flesh is none of His, Romans 8:9 . Rom 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His.

Rom 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.
7 Because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards Elohim, for it does not subject itself1 to the Torah of Elohim2, neither indeed is it able, Footnotes: 1Or does not obey. 2John 15:5, 1 John 4:4, 1 John 3:9, 1 John 5:18. 8 and those who are in the flesh are unable to please Elohim.

Rom 8:10 And if Messiah is in you, the body is truly dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is life on account of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised יהושע from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Messiah from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you. 12 So then, brothers, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.

How much clearer can Yehshua make it about the need to receive Yehovah’s Spirit?

The fleshly minded person will not submit or subject himself to Yehovah’s law, or else he tries to minimize Yehovah’s Ten Commandments, by teaching they are not important in teaching Yehovah’s love and in receiving salvation. They teach also that it is impossible to keep Yehovah’s commandments, and that obeying Yehovah’s law is legalism, as if true believers are teaching that law-keeping is the only requirement to receiving salvation, and that commandment keeping is against what Messiah’s commands. Some go so far in their hatred or hostility against Yehshua that they teach Yehshua did away with The Ten Commandments at His death, an absolute lie, even though Yehshua plainly said He came not (in life or death) to abolish (do-away) the law-the 10 commandments, statutes, and judgments, but to fulfill, Mat. 5:17.

Yehshua also said a number of times in His teaching, and inspired to be said that one must keep the commandments, meaning the 10 commandments in order to receive eternal life, Mat. 5:19-22; Mat.7:23 (where Yehshua speaks out against iniquity, people working against commandment keeping); Mat. 19:17-19, Mark 10:17-19.

Today’s Christianity is a ministry and membership of the flesh, and not of the spirit, because they are not taught the truth about the receiving of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit, and that the Holy Spirit of Yehovah cannot be received by a hostile, fleshly minded, person, that is against obeying The Ten Commandments of Yehovah, Gal. 5:14-26, Gal. 2:17-18. Yehshua said all things are possible through Him, yes even keeping the 10 commandments, Mark 10:17-26. Paul said that “I can do all things through Yehshua who strengthens me,” Phil. 4:13 But today’s confessing Christians deny Yehovah’s Spirit and deny Yehshua who could strengthen them to do the impossible in their minds, and that is to keep Yehovah’s 10 commandments.

False Christians of today’s Christianity also use a perverted teaching of Romans the 7th chapter to deny the power of having received Yehovah’s Spirit, to overcome their on-going sins, and so compromise their sins and live their life by the ways of the flesh. They teach by this chapter that Paul as a Christian, lived by the flesh and was fleshly minded, and was dominated by his fleshly desires and sins, even though Paul stated in Romans 8:6 that to be fleshly minded is death. What Paul is showing in this 7th chapter is how the fleshly mind and spiritual mind works. The keys to understanding Romans 7 is found in verse 5, 18, and 25, where Paul said, verse 5, “When we were in the flesh” meaning before he and the Roman saint’s conversion, and having received Yehovah’s Spirit.

Paul then proceeds to explain how the fleshly mind works in a carnal minded person and how it worked in him before his conversion, and how it even works now in a person who lives either by quenching the Spirit of Yehovah, or lives without the Spirit of Yehovah, verse 18. In verse 25, Paul gives thanks that he lives by the Spirit, which is the mind and Spirit of Messiah living in him, and not by the law of sin, meaning the power and authority of sin over his life, through the ways of the flesh.

The way of the flesh is the way of sin, and as long as a person lives this fleshly, unrepentant way of life, sin has priority and authority over one’s life. Paul goes on to say that the law, (that is trying to obey the law) is weak through the flesh, by those who are determined to live by the flesh, Romans 8:3. But those walking-living by the spirit can fulfill the righteousness of the law, meaning, they can keep Yehovah’s Ten Commandments and overcome the breaking of those commandments, verse 4. Yehovah says in verse 6, “To be fleshly minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Any person, whose life’s concerns and thoughts are mainly on the flesh, is laying up treasures on this earth. Any person whose main communication and fellowship with others involves the flesh — the physical, will reap the fruit of the flesh, Phil. 3:18-21. Anyone whose whole life revolves around the flesh, where the things of the flesh comes first in his life, is proof, one does not have the Holy Spirit, and is not being led by the Spirit. By their fruit you shall know them, Mat. 7:20-21.

Yehshua says, “Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness (seeking the spiritual things first) and all these things, the physical necessities of life, shall be added (provided for you),” Mat. 6:33. Any person who does not daily put Yehovah first, by daily studying His Word, by digesting and assimilating His Word into his heart and mind, and who is not daily on his knees praying for His help, to be spiritually minded, and to be spirit led, is not being led by the Spirit of Yehovah, but by the flesh. This person either does not have the Holy Spirit of Yehovah, or is greatly quenching the working of the Spirit that could come to be in his life.

Satan and his messengers (ministers), along with the media are working overtime feverishly to keep people’s minds on the flesh and fleshly pursuits. All that is put before you on television, ministers with all of their shows of how their god, (people’s money), has blessed them along with all of their fake healings proves this to be true. This with all of the media, TV, soap operas, sports with all of their commercials, all the videos, all that is in books and magazines uncovering the nakedness of the flesh of people, proves where people’s minds are kept on the pursuit of the flesh and lust of the flesh. There is no time left in people’s life for Yehovah, Yehshua and pursuing the opportunity for eternal life. Satan knows this mindset of man and will continue his evil work of displaying all the desires, lusts of the flesh as being all important, to keep you out of Yehovah’s Kingdom.

What is the conversation of people today? It is all about things of the flesh. Satan and his ministers desire to keep from believers this vital information of how one receives Yehovah’s Spirit and how one is led by Yehovah’s Holy Spirit to gain eternal life by him keeping their minds all involved with things of the flesh. Man’s lust and the pursuit of the flesh deceive man of how he can receive Yehovah’s Spirit. The pursuit of the things of the flesh can even cause the quenching of the development of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit in those who have been given the earnest of the Spirit, and can blind the mind of how one receives more of Yehovah’s Spirit. Everyone must ask himself, am I being led by the Spirit of Yehovah, or by my own flesh and all its fleshly desires through the deception of a false spirit that I have accepted as being Yehovah’s Spirit from Jesus Christ, the false Messiah??? And yes you read that last statement correctly.

Jesus Christ the false Messiah according to the churches has done away with the law. Yehshua the true Messiah says that if you want to Love Him then you must keep the Laws.

Our loving and merciful Savior set aside His Holy Feast Day of the year called Pentecost, Acts 2:1-17, to remind and help people understand about the giving and receiving of Yehovah’s Holy Spirit. This Holy Day makes Yehovah real in a person’s life through the giving of the power of His Holy Spirit. But this Holy Day is not even recognized and kept in today’s accepted Christianity. Its importance is nearly all forgotten and lost. WHAT A SHAME! What a missed opportunity in learning about salvation, to worship Yehovah in Spirit and truth, and how one receives the Holy Spirit to be assured of salvation, and to be resurrected into His everlasting Kingdom.

Learn, hear, and heed what the Spirit is saying to the churches in Rev. 2 and 3! Some in these churches were not being led by the Spirit of Yehovah, but by the flesh, and needed to repent and overcome the sin of being led by the flesh. Have you done what Yehovah has commanded to receive Yehovah’s Holy Spirit, and if you have, are you now being led by that Spirit of Yehovah or by the flesh? If you do not have Yehovah’s Holy Spirit and are not being led by Yehovah’s Holy Spirit, then don’t expect to be saved, and be in the resurrection of Yehovah’s saints to receive eternal life, because you are not one of Messiah’s saints. Rom. 8:9 “— And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His. ”

Yehshua says He is going to reject all those who think they know Him by their own works, them thinking they are doing many seemingly mighty wonderful works and by them calling Him Lord, Lord, but Yehshua is going to say to them, “I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity,” Mat. 7:21-23.

Iniquity is the working of lawlessness. That is without law or without the torah or without the Ten Commandments. So repent now and begin to keep the Ten Commandments.

02/06/2012 Num 4 Job 3-6 Hebrews 1-2

The Service of the Sons of Kohath (Numbers 4)
Who was Kohath? In this chapter we see a lot of him. When Jacob (Israel) traveled down into Egypt with his sons and grandsons, Kohath, the son of Levi, was among them—along with his brothers Gershon and Merari. God had promised Jacob that in Egypt He would make of him a great nation (Genesis 46:3, 11). And with the passage of time, Kohath’s family grew large in Egypt, as did the families of his brothers. Now, while the descendants of Gershon and Merari are given different Levitical responsibilities, the Lord gives the charge of the ark, the table of showbread, the menorah, the altars, the veil, the utensils of the sanctuary, the screen and all the work related to them to the sons of Kohath (3:30-31).

In reading through this section of Scripture, we again see some of the artful creations and beautiful objects associated with the service of the tabernacle: the blue and purple coverings, the badger skins, the golden instruments and the golden menorah must have been magnificent to behold. Yet most of the sons of Kohath, though they were responsible for carrying these things, were not allowed to actually touch them or look upon them (verse 15; 1 Chronicles 13:9). Only one group of Kohathites was allowed to do that—the family of Aaron! Yes, the priests were descendants of Kohath. Perhaps this is even one of the reasons that the Kohathites were given charge of the sacred articles.

The age range of those in this service to be counted in the census was 30 to 50 years of age, a span of 20 years. The taking down, transporting and setting up of the tabernacle was difficult work. It demanded concentration and precision. Part of the reason for starting their official duties at 30 years of age, then, seems to be that the work of this office took not just strength but, more importantly, training and maturity. Interestingly, God later selected this age for certain ministerial careers to commence. John the Baptist and Jesus Christ both began their ministries at around this same age.
JOB (3-6)
“May the Day Perish on Which I Was Born” (Job 3)
A week after his friends arrive, when Job at last speaks, he is no longer the composed, almost stoic figure of the previous chapter. He pours out his heart in a flood of emotion, wishing he had never been born or that he had died at birth. Some might argue that Job’s pious integrity was based merely on personal advantage after all—that his faith and resolve were quickly overthrown. But that is much too hard of an evaluation. Recall that Job was evidently scraping at his unbearable sores and mulling over his plight for months at this point (see 7:3). People in agony and torment often cry out and say things they don’t fully mean.

The danger for Job here is in the possibility of bitterness and despair overwhelming his thinking altogether. As The Expositor’s Bible Commentary notes on this chapter: “In chapter 3 Job established an attitude that largely colored all that he said in the succeeding chapters. In all his many words of despair, nowhere would he come closer to cursing God to his face (2:5) than here in chapter 3. By cursing the day of his birth, he was questioning the sovereign wisdom of his Creator [and, it should be added, implying that there was no worthwhile value in having lived as a servant of God]. At this point the drama is intense, for the Accuser whom we shall never see again seems to have triumphed. Whether he has or not will be determined by what follows.”

In verse 8, Job even expresses the wish that those “who curse the day”—perhaps meaning professional cursers like the false prophet Balaam (see Numbers 22-24)—had aimed their hexes at his date of birth. He refers to these cursers also as “those who are ready to arouse Leviathan.” Leviathan was understood to be a monster or dragon of the deep. Perhaps the idea was that these cursers would call forth Leviathan to bring forth a deluge from the sea to cause utter calamity, in this case against his birthday. Such a statement from Job would not necessarily mean that he believed these cursers had such power. Rather, he could merely have been lamenting: If only they could have…and if only they did. Yet we should consider that Leviathan, as we will later see in our reading of chapter 41, may on some level be a figurative description of Satan. If that was in Job’s thinking, then perhaps he knew that the cursers did have access to real spiritual power—that of the devil—to work dark magic and decree hexes. The irony here would be immense: If only the devil had killed me…

The irony is even greater near the end of the chapter. Job, longing for death to end his suffering (verses 20-23), perceived that it was God’s protective hedge that kept at bay the death for which he longed (see verse 23). How true this was! Note here that Job was in no way contemplating suicide. As much as he wanted to die, he realized that life and death were within God’s purview alone (see also 7:15-21; 10:18-22). Indeed, we should observe that in all Job said, he did not reject God or God’s laws.

In 3:25, Job surprisingly reveals that he has lived in fear of what has befallen him. The Bible Reader’s Companion suggests in its note on this verse: “This may be the key to the reason God permitted Job’s suffering. Job fears God and tries to serve Him. Yet he also fears the future. Perhaps through his experience Job will find a deeper faith, one that frees him from terror of the future and permits a deeper love of God.”

Finally, in ending his opening speech with the words, “I have no rest, for trouble comes” (verse 26), Job seems to recognize that the coming of his friends brings fresh turmoil and discomfort. It is likely that he well knew that his friends would view his suffering as evidence of sin and therefore hypocrisy. This, then, gives the starting point to the great controversy of the book that follows.

“Who Ever Perished Being Innocent?” (Job 4-5)
Among Job’s friends, Eliphaz the Temanite speaks first, showing him probably to be the oldest and likely reckoned as the wisest. As we will see, Eliphaz is the kindest of the three in his remarks to Job. This, however, is not to say that his remarks are kind. He begins by saying that Job, a counselor and comforter to others, is not able be bolstered by his own typical consolation (4:1-6). We then see that Eliphaz is convinced that God would not punish the truly righteous or sustain the wicked, and that he believes Job must have sinned to be deserving of such calamitous experiences.

The “lions” of verse 10 are figuratively the wicked—though whether this is a statement about the wicked in general or one intended to directly identify Job is not clear. Of course, even if generalized, Job and his family seem to be at least indirectly likened to the decimated pride of lions here. Indeed, this begins to exemplify the whole problem with Job’s friends, as we will see. We later are told that Job’s three friends have not spoken what is right concerning God (Job 42:7-8). While many of the ideas they express are true in a general sense, these concepts do not apply universally—and they did not apply in Job’s case, as God declared him blameless and upright.

To bolster his case, Eliphaz remarkably points to some sort of night vision or dream wherein a spirit communicated with him (4:12-17). Whether this was a made-up story, his imagination or a real encounter—be it with God, a heavenly angel or a demonic imposter—we have no way of knowing. The statement of verse 17 has traditionally been translated as asking if a mortal man can be more righteous and purer than God. However, there would hardly seem to be a question about that. “Many grammarians…render it ‘Can a mortal be found righteous in the presence of God?’” (Expositor’s Bible Commentary, note on verses 12-21; compare NRSV). The point would be that Job was certainly guilty of some sin. While this idea was true on the face of it—and is even part of what Job comes to understand more fully at the end of the book—Eliphaz’s application of this truth with respect to Job was wrong, as he was trying to prove that Job’s suffering was directly related to some particular sin or sins he had committed.

Eliphaz’s advice in 5:8—that Job should turn to God for help—was probably rather condescending. Given even the little we know of Job from the narrative so far, we would have to assume that he was a praying person. Surely Eliphaz, an actual companion of this righteous man, knew this too. “How strange to assume that Job hasn’t sought God. The advice to ‘just pray about it’ must seem terribly trite to someone who has been pouring out his heart to God in utter anguish” (Bible Reader’s Companion, note on verse 8) .

Interestingly, the apostle Paul quoted the words of Eliphaz in Job 5:13—about God catching the wise in their own craftiness—as authoritative Scripture, introducing them with the phrase “It is written” (1 Corinthians 3:19). “This serves as a reminder,” notes Gleason Archer in the New International Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties, “that many of the general principles the comforters brought up in their dialogue with Job were quite true in themselves, even though they may not have been appropriate to Job’s situation, and may by inference have been grossly unfair to him. But we should remember that Job himself declared to them, ‘Who does not know such things as these?’ (12:3)—i.e., those religious platitudes that they had been preaching to him” (p. 396). The Expositor’s Bible Commentary suggests that all of Eliphaz’s words in Job 5:9-16 (including verse 13, quoted by Paul) constitute a creedal hymn. Indeed, these words may have been part of a psalm already extant within Abraham’s family that Eliphaz himself was just quoting.

Eliphaz finishes out his first speech with adages about God ultimately delivering those who repent when chastened by Him. The “covenant with the stones of the field” in verse 23 is probably related to Psalm 91:12, where God speaks of keeping His servant’s foot from dashing against a stone. Once more, the sentiments here are true when applied generally. But Eliphaz was misapplying them—not just in perceiving Job as having sinned to deserve punishment but in the heartless, tactless proclamation of these truths to one who needed comfort. Eliphaz says, for instance, that as part of the results of accepting God’s discipline, “You will know that your children will be many” (Job 5:25, NIV)—thoughtless of the awful fact that Job’s children were dead.

This should serve as a lesson to us of what not to do when people are deeply hurting. Job’s friends were at their best when they wept for him and kept quiet. It’s when they opened their mouths and started “preaching” at him—with terribly wrong assumptions moreover—that they went off course. We should never approach others suffering loss of loved ones or terminal illness and start in on them with what they should do to prevent such problems or how to get straightened out.

Eliphaz’s patronizing attitude in verse 27 made the situation all the worse—and totally misrepresented God. As The Bible Reader’s Companion notes: “Eliphaz has neatly packaged his God as one who must act according to his understanding. After all, if the innocent never perish, and if God hears their appeals, all Job has to do is pray and be healed! Eliphaz never stops to think how presumptuous it is to limit God by his own fallible reasoning. How foolish are the many Eliphazes among us, whose assurances that ‘if you only have enough faith you’ll be healed’ are just as superficial, harmful, and wrong.”

Job Pleads for Comfort (Job 6-7)
Job begins his response with an admission that, due to his severe circumstances, his words have been rash (6:3). It seems that his point here is to inform his friends that they should not pick over everything he says, as much of it is just anguish and venting.

Eliphaz, we may recall, had told Job to turn to God (5:8). Yet Job had no doubt spent much time in prayer. By this point, however, Job has come to regard his situation as one of being pierced through with poison arrows from God. Thus, relief did not seem to immediately lie in that direction (6:4). Instead, he saw a need for relief and comfort from his friends.

In verse 5 Job pointed out that donkeys and oxen cried out when they were hungry. He was, by analogy, saying that he himself was crying out because he was in need of nourishment—the nourishment in his case being the relief and comfort he sought. Yet the tasteless “food” that Eliphaz had thus far provided turned Job’s stomach (verses 6-7).

In verses 8-9 Job again wishes for God to bring him the sure relief of death. Verse 10, in which the translation is disputed, seems to be saying that if he died right now, Job would still find comfort beyond death because he did not live apart from God’s words in his life. The implicit concern, though, is that if his present circumstances continue, he may indeed reject God and lose his future reward. For how, he wonders, can he go on (verses 11-13).

In verse 14, Job says that a suffering person’s friends should treat him kindly even when that friend turns from God. That is, while it might look like there is a pressing need to “save” a suffering sinner by preaching to him and warning him, the more immediate need is actually for compassion. This does not mean there is no place for spiritual advice. But it must come with proper tact and timing—and wisdom.

Job likens his companions to desert wadis that look promising as sources of water from afar but evoke great disappointment when they are found dried up (verses 15-21). He had not asked them for some great thing like a ransom or military help to rescue him (verses 22-23). All he was asking for was simple human kindness. The arguments he had heard thus far were not only worthless to him, but accusatory and unjust (verses 24-30)—and not at all what he needed right now.

Chapter 1
A Study in the book of Ibrim (Hebrews)
Background: The author of Ibrim is Rabbi Shaul (aka Paul). The time of the writing is around 60 AD, and the audience, it is believed, was those believers located in the region of Italy.
Chapter 1
1 Elohim, having of old spoken in many portions (Shaul is here referring to the Torah portions that used to be read each and every Sabbath day to the people at the Synogogue) and many ways to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by the Son, whom He has appointed heir of all, through whom also He made the ages, 3 who being the brightness of the esteem and the exact representation of His substance, and sustaining all by the word of His power, having made a cleansing of our sins through Himself, sat down at the right hand of the Greatness on high, 4 having become so much better than the messengers, as He has inherited a more excellent Name than them.

An opening description of The Redeemer to the babes in belief in Italy. They were scattered Israelites who had migrated to Italy. They were new to hearing of the promised Messiah and His life and deliverance. It had only been 30 years since He walked and talked among the people, and all the earth and time-changing events of that Passover Week. There were pockets of believers all throughout Asia Minor and the Mediterranean. The believers here in the Book of Hebrews were most certainly the “scattered tribes of Israel” and some “true gentiles.” They were descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – not peoples of other nations for the most part. The reason this is a fact can be seen in later chapters in the book of Hebrews when Shaul discusses matters that would only make sense to descendants of Abraham. So, these people were the lost sheep of Israel and called gentiles even at the time of the preaching and teaching of Paul. Isn’t it interesting that Shaul feels no compunction to explain the Elohim of Israel to them, only to profess that the person of whom he is now speaking of is THE long awaited Messiah. You see, even at that time, the scattered and lost sheep of the House of Israel (Northern Kingdom) were called gentiles. They were living like gentiles in the “nations.” Just like many are now, like the prodigal son.

“through whom also He made the ages”
Psalms 33:6a “By the Word of יהוה the heavens were made” v.5 For to which of the messengers did He ever say, “You are My Son, today I have brought You forth”? And again, “I shall be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son”? “You are My Son, today I have brought You forth” Psalm 2:7 “I inscribe for a law: יהוה has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have brought You forth.’ “I shall be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son” 2 Samuel 7:14 “I am to be his Father, and he is My son.”
6 And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, “Let all the messengers of Elohim do reverence to Him.” 7 And of the messengers indeed He says, “… who is making His messengers spirits and His servants a flame of fire.” A light unto the world? [He is making the messengers a spirit, a breath and making He servants a flashing fire like lightning] 8 But to the Son [He says,] “Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever, a scepter of straightness is the scepter of Your reign. Let us take a moment to list out the statements that Shaul records that the Almighty Creator Elohim, יהוה says about יהושע.

Up until verse 6, all the discussion about יהושע is BEFORE He actually came onto the earth as Savior and Redeemer! See in verse 6 what it reads:
6 And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, “Let all the messengers of Elohim do reverence to Him.” 7 And of the messengers indeed He says, “…who is making His messengers spirits and His servants a flame of fire.” 8 But to the Son, “Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever, a scepter of straightness is the scepter of Your reign. יהוה has a Kingdom, and that Kingdom (government) will be one of righteousness and justice and WILL be ordered through Torah! 9 “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Because of this, Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more that Your companions.”

If your scriptures read “…loved righteousness and hated wickedness” Take note that the word is “lawlessness” and measn “without Torah”. Because Messiah loved righteousness and hated Torahlessness – The Most High Creator Elohim anointed Him with oil and more that anyone else, more than the messengers. 10 And, “You, Master, did found the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth.” 11 “They shall perish, but You remain. And they shall all grow old like a garment, Matthew 5:18 “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no mean pass from the Torah till all be done.

Matthew 24:35 “The heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away. Luke 16:17 “And it is easier for the heaven and the earth to pass away than for one tittle of the Torah to fail. 12 and like a mantle You shall fold them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years shall not fail.” Revelation 21:1 And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 13 And to which of the messengers did He ever say, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet?”

Psalms 110:1 יהוה said to my Master (יהושע), “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”

14 Are they not all serving spirits sent out to attend those who are about to inherit deliverance? Sha’ul was trying to convince scattered Yisra’el of The Messiah’s supremacy and anointing over and above that of the messengers. There mאט have been an issue among the people in Italy concerning Angel fear and worship, and that somehow it was the angels (messengers) that would be the judges of all mankind. This is even further evidenced by Sha’ul’s admonition in Chapter 2 “Because of this we have to pay more attention to what we have heard (the Truth about Who יהושע is), lest we drift away.

Hebrews (Ibrim) Chapter 2
Sha’ul opens with the verse we closed with in Chapter one. 1 Because of this we have to pay more attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away. From the study of Chapter 1, it was difficult to see who Sha’ul was saying the messengers were, but it is clear as the study proceeds. He is speaking of all those who have “heard His voice” and proclaimed His Word.

There are two occasions in ALL of scripture, where we hear from The Creator Himself!
1. The Giving of the Torah 2. Words of יהושע So the “this” Sha’ul is talking about here is the Torah – following – although messengers/angels/servants have been sent to us, mankind, to “serve” us and to “serve” יהוה – There are some concepts, instructions, statutes, teachings that we MUST pay attention to above all others, and he warns us that if we don’t take care – this truth will slip away from us (to our destruction). He is exalting יהושע to His rightful place as, not only above all the messengers/angels/servants, but to position equal to the Father.

With this in mind, moving on to verse 2. 2 For if the word spoken through messengers {prophets} proved to be firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a right reward, Some translations have the word “word” capitalized, meaning the word is the Word (Messiah) and/or the word is Torah {both are interchangeable). This Word {Torah} that was spoken WAS proved to be firm or steadfast as we know from the scriptures. In the wilderness, it was immediate – in the prophets, it was delayed but DID happen to the people in that they were expelled from the land into captivity.

It is true that the Torah emphasizes immediate, concrete, physical rewards and punishments rather than abstract future ones. See, for example, Lev. 26:3-9 and Deut. 11:16-17
“If you walk in My laws and guard My commands, and shall do them, then I shall give you rain in its season, and the land shall yield its crops, and the trees of the field yield their fruit. And your threshing shall last till the time of the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall last till the time of sowing. And you shall eat your bread until you have enough, and shall dwell in your land safely. And i shall give peace in the land, and you shall lie down and no one make you afraid. And I shall clear the land of evil beasts, and not let the sword go through your land. And you shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you And five of you shall pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you pursue ten thousand. And your enemies shall fall by the sword before you. And I shall turn to you and make you bear fruit, and shall increase you, and shall establish My covenant with you. Leviticus 26:3-9

Guard yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other mighty ones and bow down to them. Then the displeasure of יהוה shall burn against you, and HE shall shut up the heavens, and there be no rain, and the land not five its increase. And you shall perish quickly from the good land which יהוה is giving you. Deuteronomy 11:16-17

Certain sins are punished by the sinner being “cut off from his people.” See, for example, Gen. 17:14 and Ex. 31:14. This punishment is referred to as kareit (kah-REHYT) (literally, “cutting off,” but usually translated as “spiritual excision”), and it means that the soul loses its portion in the World to Come. And an uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, his life shall be cut off from his people – he has broken My covenant. Genesis 17:14 And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people. Exodus 31:14

Let us not forget also that the Children of Israel were eventually “cut off” from the land for their “not remembering and doing” the commands of The Torah of יהוה – allowing them to be taken into captivity to Assyria and Babylon. {It is for us to realize now, that Sha’ul is/could very well be HERE talking to the exiled “seed of Abraham” in Italy! And KNOW he is speaking to the scattered children and gentiles even today – for have we NOT honored the Words, but have drifted away, even teaching they are no longer valid?}

So with these very few examples I have added here, one can see that Sha’ul was certainly speaking the truth when he stated “ the word spoken through messengers {prophets} proved to be firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a right reward,” 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a deliverance {Torah}, which first began to be spoken by the Master {יהוה}, and was confirmed to us by those that heard {Mosheh, all the Children of Israel at Mt Sinai, the prophets}

The Great Deliverance:
The Mosheh came, with Hoshea (Yahoshua) son of Nun, and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. And when Mosheh ended speaking all these words to all Yisra’el, he said to them, “Set your heart on all the words with which I warn you today, so that you command your children to guard to do all the Words of this Torah. For it is not a worthless Word for you, because it is your life, and by this Word you prolong your days on the soil which your pass over the Yarden to possess. Deuteronomy 32:44-47

4 Elohim also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Set-apart Spirit, distributed according to His own desire? יהוה has done many things throughout the history of the earth, world, and mankind to prove to us His Torah is True. He bears Witness to it. 5 For it is not to messengers that He has subjected the world to come, concerning which we speak.

6 But somewhere one has witnessed, saying,”What is man that You remember him, or the son of man that You look after him? 7 You have made him a little lower than the messengers {Elohim is most probably the word used in the original letter because Sha’ul is quoting Psalms, see below. The Greek translation uses angels, which does not make sense}. You have crowned him with esteem and respect, and set him over the works of Your hands.

That someone was the Psalmist, David.
Psalms 8:4 -8 What is man that You remember him? And the son of man that You visit him? Yet You have made him a little less than Elohim, And Have crown him with esteem and splendour. Youhmade him rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all under his feet, All sheep and oxen, And also the beasts of the field, The birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea,Passing through the paths of the seas. 8 You have put all in subjection under his feet. For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left none (that is) not subjected to him. But now we do not yet see all subjected to him. {referencing how there is a “world to come” when all things will be changed}

In verse 8, the word “see” is horaō hor-ah’-o Properly to stare at (compare G3700), that is, (by implication) to discern clearly (physically or mentally); by extension to attend to; by Hebraism to experience; passively to appear: – behold, perceive, see, take heed. We do not yet “see” or discern, meaning perceive with understanding. This does not mean it is not so. Very important concept for us to grasp. All things ARE subjected to Him, but only the Set apart Spirit enables this type of “seeing.” Experience!

9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the messengers, יהושע, because of the suffering of death crowned with esteem and respect, that by the favour of Elohim He should taste death for everyone. So interesting that the “see” in this verse is different
blepō blep’-o
A primary verb; to look at (literally or figuratively): – behold, beware, lie, look (on, to), perceive, regard, see, sight, take heed. So, what we DO SEE, literally, is יהושע, a man with flesh, blood, skin, and bone. So by definition of the “flesh” He was (for a while and for a specific purpose) a little lower than the messenger so that He could suffer death.

From the AENT, we are told that the Greek translations have excluded a phrase that was in the original Aramaic text at the very end of verse 9 which says “because He tasted death for the sake of everyone apart from Elohim” “apart from Elohim” – satar min Alaha. Removed from the Greek translation. This omission was likely due to a theological debate; the Monophysites were a powerful sect that sprung up in the middle of the Second Century in Alexandria, Egypt. Their core belief was that Messiah only had the appearance of a human but was in reality, completely divine. Such theology ignored statements like “Not my will, but Your Will,” along with many others; nevertheless, it gained popularity when the Imperial Byzantine “New Testament” text was emerging.

Earlier versions were so violently suppressed in the West that only Aramaic believers in the Middle East had retained the original. In context, two facts become critical. First, we know this heresy arrived early; Origen (ca. 185-232) quotes the Peshitta-exclusive reading of this verse and further substantiates this view. Second, this reading also plays into extensive themes about Messiah laying down his humanity, as well as showing that Elohim’s divine nature neither bled nor died on the stake (Acts 20:28).

This is one of the clearest examples where original Jewish understanding was almost completely obliterated by Roman and Byzantine cultures who preferred polytheistic theologies. Peshitta, in the rival Persian Empire, escaped all these revisions and kept its original Eastern (and Jewish) values intact. On this matter, Stephen Silver noted: It is understood by the use of the phrase, khaya b’qnomeh in John 5:26, that YAHUSHA “had the price of redemption,” “Life in Himself” to redeem all that “call upon His Name.” Clearly, this was and is the “will of the Father.”

In Hebrews 2:9, setar min Alaha “Life in Himself” represents both Elohim in Him, as well as His humanity,; so it is obvious that his humanity was laid down that he might take it again (John 10:17). This was the “will of the Father made manifest in the Son” by his life, death and resurrection.” There is a “remez” (hint) here that refers to Genesis 44:30, “v’naf’sho k’shurah v’naf’sho,” “and his soul is knot-tied in his soul.” Substituting b’tibohteh for min seta reflects Pagan thinking that Torah was to be replaced by “grace.” However, “Life in Himself” manifests this grace and truth of Torah, eternally (John 1:17, Exodus 34:6), Torah, without MESSIAH, is “dead letter.” MESSIAH without Torah, is “sloppy agape.”

Isaiah 53:10 But יהוה was pleased to crush Him, He laid sickness on Him, that when He made Himself an offering for guilt, He would see a seed, He would prolong His days and the pleasure of יהוה prosper in His hand. 10 For it was fitting for Him, because of whom all (are) and through whom all (are), in bringing many sons to esteem, to make the Princely Leader of their deliverance perfect through sufferings {WE ARE IN HIM!} 11 For both He who set apart and those who are being set apart are all of One, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brothers,

12 saying, “I shall announce Your Name to My brothers, in the midst of the assembly (not church) I shall sing praise to You.” Psalms 22:22 {These are the words of Messiah spoken through David} I make known Your Name to My brother; in the midst of the assembly I praise You. And יהושע DID announce the Name of the Father to His Brothers – the followers in John Chapter 17:6, he states “I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world.”

And John 17:26 “And I have made Your Name known to them, and shall make it known, so that the love with which You love Me might be in them, and I in them.” The religious leaders, both then AND NOW, were avoiding the Father’s Name, because of man-made traditions. – He is again making His Name known in our day.

13 And again, “I shall put My trust in Him.” And again, “See, I and the children whom Elohim gave Me.” Psalm 91:2 He is saying of יהוה, “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!” Isaiah 8:18 Look, I and the children whom YAHUAH has given me – for signs and wonders in Yisra’el from יהוה of hosts, who dwells in Mount Tsiyon. 14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself similarly shared in the same, so that by means of His death, He might destroy him having the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver those who throughout life were held in slavery by fear of death

Romans 8:15, 21 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba Father.” AND that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage to corruption into the esteemed freedom of the children of Elohim. 16 For, doubtless, He does not take hold of messengers (He did not take on an immortal manifestation), but He does take hold of the seed of Abraham (He assumed a mortal manifestation) 17 So in every way He had to be made like His brothers, in order to become a compassionate and trustworthy High Priest in matters related to Elohim, to make atonement of the sins of the people.

Once a year, every year on Yom HaKippurim (The Day of Atonement) – a commanded observance by our Creator Elohim יהוה – the High Priest would enter in to the Holy of Holies to make atonement for the Children of Israel. A National Atonement. This Shadow Picture of good things to come has not fully been revealed in its completeness. Future events will occur on this Holiday 18 For in what He had suffered, Himself being tried, He is able to help those who are tried.
